• November 2008: the Park Advisory Council was awarded an "Advocacy Award" from the Friends of the Parks for its outstanding work on behalf of Indian Boundary Park and the Cultural Center
  
• May 2014: the Indian Boundary Park Fieldhouse received an award for Preservation Excellence by the Commission on Chicago Landmarks
  
• November 2014: the Indian Boundary Fieldhouse received a Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Preservation Award in "Restoration" from Landmarks Illinois
